As the design team lead at Juno, I managed and mentored a team of four designers. Together with my manager, we established streamlined processes. We fostered a culture of growth through peer feedback and personal projects.
At Juno, I collaborated closely with the CEO on various business initiatives. This involved creating pitch decks, designing company-wide All Hands experiences, and gaining insights into business operations, funding, and product development. These experiences significantly expanded my industry knowledge.
As part of Juno's leadership team, I experienced a defining moment in my career. At a young age, I gained a comprehensive understanding of company operations, decision-making, and effective communication throughout the organization. It was a unique opportunity that shaped my professional growth.
Grateful for the early mentorship I received, I now prioritize mentoring designers starting their careers. Paying it forward is my way of showing appreciation. Additionally, I was a mentor for the NextLeap Design Cohort program, sharing knowledge with the next generation of designers.
Srinivas Teja
Product Designer at Juno
I've worked with Kaushik for over a year at Juno where I've seen him do exceptional work both as an IC and as a Lead. He is someone who has a great eye for detail and it truly reflects in his design work. He is not just my favorite designer to work with, but also the whole of engineering team's given how well he understands tech and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
